At EntertainOne, we have two groups of valued customers: producers who use our services to publish and/or sell their content, and film fans who buy films, video or related items from our e-Stores. This summary of Terms and Conditions applies to both groups unless stated otherwise.

Paying Us

We accept credit cards and debit cards from MasterCard, American Express, Visa and Discover.

Getting Paid

Producers and affiliates with earnings due are paid monthly by check, usually within seven days of the end of the month. If you owe us for anything, the amount owed will be deducted from the check total. If producers have earnings due from both sales of titles and from the Affiliate program, both amounts are added together and included in the same check.

Cancellations & Returns

Orders can be cancelled up until the time when the order is processed and shipped. You can view the status of your order in Your Account. If you wish to cancel, please contact us at: customerservice@entertainone.com

We accept purchase returns and refund money under these conditions:

  • You were sent the wrong title
  • You were sent a damaged DVD or tape
  • The DVD won’t work in your DVD player
  • The content is substantially different from the advertised content

Within two weeks of receiving the product, contact us for a Return Merchant Authorization (RMA), which will be automatically issued for any of the above reasons. Send your return to:

Content Sold in our Video Store

We are not responsible for the materials on a producer’s E-Store or the Content published via our Video Publishing Service. We do not review pages before they are posted, nor do we review the content of DVDs or VHS tapes before they are published.

However, we reserve the right to review and duplicate any producer’s materials for quality control or other reasonable purposes and to investigate specific complaints regarding them. Producers are solely responsible for all materials and content related to your E-Store and videos, and can be held legally liable for them.

Laws, Regulations and Other Rights

If you are a producer, you can use the EntertainOne Service to publish legitimate and inoffensive content to which you own all necessary rights, and which doesn't violate any law, regulation or other parties' rights. Our service may only be used to publish content that would typically be rated as "G", "PG", "PG-13", or "R" using the MPAA rating system.

We don’t publish content that would typically be advertised as "X-rated", or content that condones or promotes anti-social, unlawful or abusive practices such as hacking, spamming, or mail fraud, whether for educational purposes or not.

We don’t publish content that is defamatory, racist, hateful or otherwise offensive as determined by us in our sole discretion including content which aggravates, harasses, threatens, defames or abuses others or which contains extreme violence.

If we reject a Title, you may not resubmit that Title for publishing without first getting our written consent. You may not attempt to publish a rejected Title through a different member account or under a different Title name. Doing so is grounds for us to terminate your Membership, and/or account.

To protect minors from material that may not be appropriate for them, you must mark Titles which contain content that would be the equivalent of an "R" rating as "Inappropriate for Minors" during the setup of your Title on our website.

At any time, without notice and in our sole discretion, we may remove materials from our Video Publishing Service that we deem inappropriate or in violation of any of our rules or restriction.

Violation of any of the restrictions in this Agreement regarding content may result in the immediate termination of this Agreement and your member account as well as the deletion of all your member information. We may also void sales credits generated from the sale of prohibited content as well as void any referral commissions generated from prohibited content.

Master Updates

We charge producers a $20 handling fee to update DVD masters that we have previously created. If new encoding and authoring is required, the full transfer fee is charged.

Policy on Spamming

We don’t sanction spamming. Affiliates may not use spam to generate referrals, and producers may not use spam to generate sales.
