Whether you are a professional filmmaker or community producer in the business of creating and selling film, or a customer who purchases items such as tapes or videos from our eStores, your privacy is of prime importance to us. The following privacy policies cover both the above groups of valued customers, unless specifically mentioned otherwise.

How we use the information we receive about you

In the course of providing our services to you, customers provide us with contact and credit card information. Additionally, producers provide personal information such as tax ID, which is required to report profits. Like other sites, we also receive and store certain types of information such as site visitors’ cookies, IP number, browser configuration and other related details.

We do not sell any of this information, and use it purely to fulfill orders and support your experience with us.

Opt-in Policy

EntertainOne uses an Opt-in policy to direct our promotional activities. This means you will only receive special offers or promotions from us if you expressly given us permission to send you such information. If you are receiving promotional offers by email and would prefer not to receive others in the future, you will find an option to “opt-out” within the email.

Co-Promotions

Occasionally we may team up with another company or companies to offer competitions with prizes. If you choose to enter these competitions, we may share your contact with these companies.

Legal Protection

When we are required by law to provide information or must otherwise do so in response to a subpoena, warrant, or other legal process, we may release account and other personal information. We may also do this in cases where it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of EntertainOne, our employees or agents, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Copyright Violations

If we receive a credible allegation that a producer has intentionally violated the Intellectual Property Rights of another party, we may share personal and account information with relative parties.

Acquisition

In the event that EntertainOne or substantially all of its assets are acquired, please be aware that information will be one of the transferred assets.

Security of Information

We take great measures to encrypt sensitive information that is received on our website, and use appropriate firewalls. You should take appropriate measures to protect against unauthorized access to your password, including not sharing your password with others.

Conditions of Use, Notices and Revisions

When you visit our website or any of our producers’ e-Stores, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Terms of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of California.

This notice, our Terms of Use, and our Membership Agreement may change in the future, and use of information gathered is subject to the Privacy Notice in effect at the time of use.
