What can EntertainOne do for me?

How do I get my DVD published and distributed?

The process is simple:

  • Complete our graphics template for your desired menu and/or packaging, and send it to us along with your tape or DVD.
  • We transfer your title to to DVD, if necessary; develop graphics for the menu; and develop and print your labels and packaging.
  • We create a customized eStore for you, and take care of all the functionality.
  • We’ll include a streaming trailer on your site.
  • We handle all order fulfillment, including dubbing of required copies.
  • You receive your profit check from us on a monthly basis.

What formats do you accept?

We accept both tapes and previously authored DVD’s. You can send your work to us in any of these formats:

  • BetaSP
  • MiniDV
  • DVCAM
  • DVC Pro (excluding 50)
  • 1”

All must be high-quality dubs in NTSC format. We also require time-codes.

Do you accept PAL?

We accept PAL if you have a DVCAM or MiniDV master, or if you send us a DVD-R PAL formatted master.

Can I sell my titles in both DVD and VHS tape?

Yes, absolutely. If you’re starting from tape, choose the Pro DVD transfer and we can finish in both formats. If you’re starting from DVD, just send us two masters and we’ll use one to create a tape master. For more detailed information, please visit our How it works section.

I have a completed DVD title. Could you handle fulfillment for me?

We certainly can. We’ll set up an eStore for you and handle the whole thing. All you have to do is send us your DVD that’s been tested in a consumer DVD player (not a computer DVD-ROM drive).

Do I get a chance to approve the DVD master?

Yes, we send you a master for approval prior to final steps. When you return it to us, your title will be moved onto Active Status, making it available for sale.

How do you deal with extra long materials?

For videos over three hours, we transfer to multiple discs so you can sell your work as a set.

Can I take international orders?

Yes, we can ship internationally with no problem.

Do you distribute foreign producers’ titles in the U.S.?

Yes. We do this all the time. It’s a great way to avoid complex customs and international shipping issues, etc. We take care of the whole thing – all you have to do is provide us with certain information for possible tax purposes. See Foreign producers only

What about adult material?

Sorry, we don’t accept “X-rated” materials. Please see our Membership Agreement

What will my eStore URL be?

We’ll send you your unique URL as soon as you approve the master and we setup your online store.

How much should I charge for each title?

In order to break even, you need to set the price to $9.40, minimum. To make a profit on each title, you need to charge a higher rate.

To give you an example: Setting the price of your DVD/VHS tape at $31.95, will give you a profit of $21.40 per unit sold.

Should there be a different price for VHS?

It’s entirely up to you. We charge you the same for regular DVD and VHS sales. However, remember that long VHS tapes have an extra charge of $2.

What’s the shipping address?

How much is it?

For each title you want to sell, there’s a one-time set-up fee of $39, that includes setting up your DVD title for duplication, and the development and setup of your online store.

If you first need to transfer from tape to DVD, there’s an additional charge. Please review our pricing section for transfer prices.

For each copy that’s then sold, a processing fee of $8.95, plus 5% of the price of the DVD is deducted from your sales price.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasteCard, American Express and Discover.

How long does it all take?

From receipt of your materials to set-up of your eStore usually takes about 5 business days. Your store can go live as you soon as you have returned to us the DVD master that we send for your approval.

What’s your Return Policy?

We’ll return your money immediately if:

  • You received the wrong title

    •
  • You received a damaged DVD or tape

    •
  • You received a DVD that won’t work in your player

    •
  • You received substantially different content than that advertised
    •

How do I Return a Title?

How does the Affiliate Program work?

How do I get paid for my sales?

Every month, you’ll receive a check from us that covers all orders from the previous month. If you have any Affiliate Program earnings, these will also be included in the amount.
